Our Story

 PhotonX began as an R&D center for an Egyptian company founded in 1964. The company initially focused on commerce, selling imported products before shifting toward local production to reduce dependence on external supply. As operations expanded, engineers traveled abroad to acquire the technical and technological know-how needed to elevate Egyptian manufacturing and build a stronger foundation for innovation. Over time, the company realized that true progress required creating knowledge from within. In 2010, it began building its own R&D capabilities, which evolved into a fully integrated center with advanced engineering, design, and certified testing facilities. With a focus on home appliances, the center developed over 50 platforms and a broad SKU portfolio, building deep expertise while supporting the shift to localized manufacturing. By late 2025, to have a better impact on Egypt and the Globe, these accumulated capabilities evolved into an independent entity: PhotonX. Today, PhotonX provides integrated end-to-end ideation-to-production services and strategic, technological, and production know-how to industries locally and globally, continuing the journey from importing technology to creating it.
